Doping-free, liquid complementary feed for horses & ponies
Vitamin E is involved in a variety of vital processes in the body and is especially needed in phases of increased stress due to training, illness or reproduction.
During the metabolism of nutrients, "free radicals" are formed in the body as a by-product, which can damage the cells: Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and protects the sensitive cell membranes against destruction and degradation.
Even with a high load on the immune system due to increased stress, operations, vaccinations, etc., vitamin E is a useful supplement in feeding - especially in outbreaks of equine herpes, vitamin E is recommended by veterinarians in acute or preventive cases.
Intensively trained (sports) horses and young horses that are growing with active muscle building can also benefit from the properties of the E vitamin: Tension in the muscles can be counteracted and the protection of muscle fibers is promoted.
ESS® Vitamin E contains high-quality vitamin E and the amino acid lysine and is suitable for horses of all ages and performance classes.
Large horses: 20 - 30 ml per day
(contains up to 50 servings / bottle)
Ponies: 15 - 20 ml per day
(contains up to 66 servings / bottle)
Increased need: 30 - 40 ml per day
(contains up to 33 servings / bottle)
Supplementary feed is no substitute for balanced, varied feeding and performance-based training of the horse.
An increased daily need results e.g. in the case of acute illness or physical exertion from competitions.
The recommended (daily) dose should not be exceeded without consulting a veterinarian.

If the feeding recommendation cannot be reliably adhered to, feeding should be stopped 48 hours before a competition to be on the safe side. The anti-doping control rules must continue to be observed.
